We are looking for an experienced hands‑on IT professional based in Zurich that can take ownership of our IT infrastructure, both on its administration and technical execution. You will be responsible for building, managing, securing, operating, maintaining and providing support for all the organisation’s IT. Responsibilities: IT management
Plan IT priorities, activities and budget
Manage Embotech’s IT infrastructure, especially MS365, networks, IT assets and cloud infrastructure
System administration
Plan, design and implement performant, secure and resilient IT systems
Operate and maintain IT infrastructure
Implement changes to and continuously improve IT systems
Helpdesk
Provide IT support to other employees
Develop and maintain self‑service resources. Information security
Information security
Manage security risks for IT systems
Support the CISO with the management of information security and act as his deputy
Requirements: Must have
Degree or vocational training in IT, or a related field. IT certifications are a plus
5+ years of experience operating IT in a medium‑size corporation (100-150 employees) or a scale‑up.
Solid expertise in the management of networks, MS365 tenants and IT assets (Windows, Linux and Apple). Cloud infrastructure is a plus
Good understanding of best practices for managing and securing IT infrastructure
First experience managing budgets, planning and liaising with senior management
Self‑driven, accountable and hands‑on
Team player, ready to help
Fluent in English, German is a plus
Be onsite every day
Nice to have
Experience with ISMS or ITSM
Experience with git, Docker and/or IaC
