SR Internal Auditor in Genève

pEMEA Recruitment is partnering with an international organization operating in a complex, highly regulated environment to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor - Commodity Trading. /p pAs the Senior Internal Auditor, you will lead risk-based internal audit engagements across international operations, evaluating governance, risk management and internal controls. /p pYou'll also provide strategic recommendations that enhance operational effectiveness. /p pWorking closely with senior stakeholders, this role will help drive continuous improvement across a diverse and fast-paced business. /p h3Key responsibilities of the Senior Internal Auditor - Commodity Trading: /h3 pLead and deliver risk-based internal audit assignments across multiple business functions, including on-site and remote reviews /p pConduct interviews with stakeholders across commercial, operational, risk and corporate functions to evaluate business processes and internal controls /p pAssess and document key controls, procedures and audit findings, identifying opportunities to strengthen governance and mitigate risk /p pDesign and perform data-driven audit testing, including automated analytics, trend analysis and exception reporting to support continuous assurance activities /p pExecute detailed audit testing across operational processes, transactions and financial activities using risk-based sampling techniques /p pEvaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies, governance standards and applicable regulatory requirements /p pMentor junior members of the audit team and contribute to knowledge sharing across the functions /p h3Candidate profile: /h3 pDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline /p pProfessional qualification such as CIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is highly desirable /p pApproximately 6-8 years' experience in internal or external audit within a commodity trading company. /p pExperience using data analytics to support audit delivery; Knowledge of tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical platforms would be advantageous /p pExperience working with ERP or enterprise business systems is desirable /p pAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint /p pFluent English, both written and spoken.
