Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting ManagerEMEA Recruitment is partnering with a confidential global investment organisation to recruit a Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager based in the Zug area.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who has experience with private market semi liquid funds to join a growing team responsible for the financial oversight and reporting of complex investment structures. The role offers broad exposure across fund accounting, NAV oversight, audit coordination, and financial reporting within an international environment.Working closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, and third-party service providers, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of entities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the coordination of annual audits across a portfolio of regulated and complex investment structuresAct as a key point of contact for auditors, administrators, and internal stakeholders throughout the reporting cycleReview and challenge NAV calculations, financial statements, and reporting packages prepared by external service providersEnsure financial reporting is delivered accurately and in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirementsSupport technical accounting assessments and provide guidance on accounting treatments and policy applicationPartner with external administrators to oversee periodic NAV and financial reporting processesDrive improvements across reporting, control, and audit coordination processes to enhance efficiency and scalabilityBuild strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and external service providersSupport the development and mentoring of junior team membersCandidate ProfileDegree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineProfessional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent8+ years of experience within fund accounting, financial reporting, audit, fund control in a financial servicesStrong IFRS knowledge; additional exposure to international accounting frameworks is advantageousExperience within semi-liquid funds, private markets, alternative investments, or complex fund structures is essentialStrong understanding of NAV processes, financial reporting requirements, and audit cyclesExcellent analytical and technical accounting capabilitiesAdvanced Excel skills and strong systems proficiencyStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global environmentDetail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced settingEMEA Recruitment is committed to promoting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the workplace.
