Supplier Quality Manager We have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join a leading international manufacturing organisation operating within a highly technical and engineer related environment.
This role will play a key part in driving quality performance across the global supply chain, ensuring robust quality standards, supplier development, and continuous improvement across high‑volume component manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to shape quality processes, improve supplier performance from the Direct materials side and deliver measurable operational impact across an international network.
Key responsibilities as Supplier Quality Manager include:
Develop and implement supplier quality strategies and frameworks for high‑volume manufacturing environments (direct materials)
Establish quality standards, control plans, and validation processes to ensure production readiness and consistency
Work closely with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to improve quality performance and reduce operational risks
Lead process validation activities and ensure quality requirements are embedded across the supply chain
Drive supplier quality initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to improve product and process performance
Deliver continuous improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methodologies
The ideal candidate profile:
Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline
Strong experience within Quality Engineering in high‑volume manufacturing environments
Proven knowledge of quality methodologies including APQP, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma
Experience supporting industrialisation activities and process validation programmes
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
Fluent in English; German (B2 level or above) would be beneficial
Comfortable working in an international environment with occasional travel requirements
