PAS Lead Engineer

We are looking for a PAS Lead Engineer to join our team!
As a member of the Project Management team on a Project, you will be responsible for owning the delivery of a portfolio of projects, using the Emerson Process Management global resources and standards, and coordinating in detail the project team.

In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:

1. Support the relevant Project Lead or Project Manager in understanding, handling, and achieving each customer’s expectations with respect to the management of other parties – product vendors, sub-contractors, other Emerson teams, and third parties undertaking work on behalf of a customer.
2. Take ownership of the engineering activities on all allocated work and proactively apply methodologies, resources, and techniques for minimizing execution costs while maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standards.
3. Support the development of a realistic and achievable project schedule and provide vital information to ensure that resource requirements, progress, and areas of risk are fully communicated.
4. Act as the first point of contact for all technical communication with the customer for the assigned work, ensuring that all team members, including any third parties, are provided with all necessary and relevant information.
5. Support the procurement list, including detailed specifications for any sub-contracted works and services where relevant, along with required delivery dates.
6. Fully understand the scope of work for all allocated engineering and ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget, and schedule, advising the Project Lead or Manager of any customer-initiated changes in scope at the earliest opportunity.
7. Verify that all engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s quality control processes and that the relevant standards are achieved, always adhering to the company’s and customer HSEQ standards.
8. Support the creation of an inclusive and encouraging environment for all personnel within the project team and actively support team members in achieving any personal development objectives that may have been set for the project.
9. Actively contribute to any assigned bid activities to ensure that the customer’s requirements are fully understood, proposing innovative and cost-efficient solutions.
10. Acquire, maintain, and actively share knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization.

Who You Are:

You are a self-motivated, ambitious, and strong leader, passionate about making an impact and acting with integrity. You continuously push yourself and your project team to achieve new goals and are not afraid to question the status quo by proposing creative solutions to problems.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1. State-certified technician completed vocational training, e.g., electronics technician for automation technology or comparable training.
2. At least 5 years of relevant confirmed experience with a proven record of handling system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of projects.
3. Ability to work independently and within defined timelines.
4. Extensive experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations.
5. Valid driving license for cars.
6. Local language skills with proficient English (verbal and written).
7. Willingness to travel as needed.
