As the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for engineering leadership for the Power & Renewables team in Europe. This includes direct leadership of the Power & Renewables European Engineering Organization to maintain core engineering competencies and indirect responsibility for managing the Center of Excellence Cluj team.
You will collaborate with the Noida Centre of Excellence to position competitive solutions across all sectors of the Power & Renewables industry. Additionally, you will work with regional Operations Directors and country organizations to enhance their engineering capabilities for projects and service delivery.
Furthermore, you will partner with Sales and Proposal teams to drive competitive displacement projects and new initiatives through strong engineering expertise. You will provide strategic mentorship and foster core competency development.
Responsibilities include:
- Leveraging and developing the core engineering expertise of the Cluj and Warsaw centers to support the group\’s strategy in Europe.
- Maintaining collaboration with other Centers of Excellence to ensure competitive solutions across the power industry sectors.
- Supporting Regional Operations Directors and country organizations in building engineering expertise for projects and services.
- Assisting Sales and Proposals teams with displacement projects and new initiatives.
- Serving as a technical contact for Westinghouse Europe and collaborating on KOB3 service delivery.
- Focusing on KOB3 initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
- Experience in the automation industry with broad knowledge of Power and Renewables segments (Renewables, Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Boilers).
- Proven operational management experience.
- Proficiency in English for communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization.
- Knowledge of a third European language is advantageous.
