As an enrolled student of electrical engineering or related field of study, you’ll become part of our research team and help us to investigate and prototype 6G wireless systems. The focus is on new upcoming technologies like integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), non-terrestrial communication, and/or machine learning techniques as part of the wireless transmission system. Depending on your abilities, you’ll extend the existing prototyping system and conduct experiments to verify and quantify new ideas.
The deployment of 5G is ongoing, and the focus of researchers in academia and industry is already shifting to the 6th generation of wireless communications. The focus is on new upcoming technologies like e.g. integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), non-terrestrial communication, and/or machine learning techniques as part of the wireless transmission system. As with 5G, NI wants to be on the leading edge and is preparing for the next technology wave.
