About the Role
We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager to strengthen how information, decisions, and leadership intent flow across Emma.
This role is about clarity, structure, and alignment—ensuring the right message reaches the right people, in the right way, especially in a fast‑moving, international environment.
You will report to our Head of Culture and work as a trusted partner to C‑level leaders, translating strategic intent into clear, cascaded communication.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the communications right hand to C‑level leaders on both ad‑hoc and recurring internal messaging.
- Translate strategic decisions into clear, structured, and cascaded communication across the organization.
- Manage Emma’s internal communication across multiple offices and regions: Frankfurt, Manila, Lisbon, and Mexico City.
- Ensure communication is accurate and considers both informational and emotional impact.
- Drive structure and execution across internal communications initiatives.
- Own and improve key communication formats and channels, such as Emma’s Global All Hands.
- Own the people survey as a product—design, communicate results, and identify themes and patterns in qualitative feedback.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a scale‑up, international environment where you owned structured communication or information management.
- Proven track record of working directly with C‑level stakeholders, drafting on their behalf, managing their messaging, and earning their trust.
- Ability to break down complex problems, identify patterns, and translate insights into clear, actionable steps.
- Systems‑thinking approach, not limited to sentences, and a desire to own how communication works.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus given our international footprint.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast‑moving environments, without waiting for a perfect brief to deliver a sharp output.
- Professional growth mindset and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a dedicated, international team.
