Overview
In this role you will design, build, and scale high-performance backend services to enable Emma’s global fulfillment and logistics. You will collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver reliable APIs and distributed systems. You’ll own backend components end-to-end, from development to deployment and monitoring, and drive code quality through tests and CI/CD. You’ll work in an agile, knowledge-sharing environment and help grow a high-performing tech team. This is a chance to shape the systems that power a fast-growing sleep brand on a global stage.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, build, and scale backend services in Go and TypeScript to support global fulfillment and logistics
- Develop robust, secure REST APIs that integrate with internal and third-party systems
- Work with event-driven architectures using AWS SNS/SQS for distributed communication
- Own backend components end-to-end (development, testing, deployment, monitoring)
- Ensure code quality via automated tests, reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines
- Contribute to a collaborative, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing team culture
- Support recruitment to grow the tech team
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven experience designing scalable, performant backend systems in cloud environments (Go and TypeScript)
- Experience with AWS SNS/SQS and modern cloud infrastructures (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
- Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, design patterns)
- Multiple years of backend experience in fast-paced e-commerce or logistics contexts
- CI/CD experience and clean, maintainable code
- High degree of ownership, proactive problem-solving, and teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
