Responsibilities:

• Drive large and heavy vehicles, such as articulated buses and truck-trailers that exceed standard dimensions.
• Follow all relevant traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles.
• Oversee and help with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring it is properly secured to prevent damage.
• Check cargo documents and visually inspect the load to ensure the vehicle is not overloaded.
• Drive with extra caution due to the large size and weight of the vehicle and its cargo.
• Keep records of trips and prepare reports in the event of an accident.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on the vehicle, including minor repairs.

A5-06:

Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B, C and CE.

A5-07:

Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B, C and CE, PLUS at least 10 years of occupational experience as a driver of Heavy Trucks.

This is a temporary full-time position (46.5 hs/week) until the return of the incumbent, but not to exceed 30 September 27.

• If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
• On-call duty required.
• Cargo Securing Certificate desired.
• ADR license desired.
• English Language Proficiency Level A1 AND German Language Proficiency Level B1 required.
