Deployed across several sites, the Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital with outpatient consultations on two sites, a residential department for adults with disabilities, intellectual impairments or physical issues, a specialised school, and a sector for workshops and professional training.
For the Plein Soleil department at the Lausanne site, hosting 68 residents living with an acquired neurological condition, we are looking for:
ASSC in the field of neurology for 12 hours
Working based on disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary objectives, the ASSC establishes a partnership relationship with the resident and their relatives. They intervene in all daily life activities by accompanying and supporting the resident to promote their autonomy and health.
Main tasks:
- Caring for the person received, respecting the Institution’s values and referring to the support concept; - Supporting or assisting the person received, depending on their autonomy, in daily life activities, meeting their care needs and accompanying them through various life situations; - Contributing to the implementation of personalised support projects for residents within an interdisciplinary framework; - Collaborating in work organisation, integrating new professionals, and developing care practices within the residence; - Working closely with the nursing team in resident care and providing medical-technical care under supervision; - Carrying out administrative and logistical tasks related to resident care.
We require:
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Community Health and Care Assistant (ASSC) - Skills to work interdisciplinarily - Strong interest in neurology - Good listening skills, ease in communication and negotiation - Energy and a sense of responsibility
