Field Robotics Deployment Engineer

ppstrongAbout Enact /strongbrThe next defining technological breakthrough will be in the physical world. We stand at a historical inflection point: bringing general-purpose intelligence into robotics. /ppAt Enact we rethink the entire robotic tech stack from model architectures and data pipelines, to the actuators and sensors that feed the model. Pushing beyond pure vision and language approaches, we build a proprioceptive nerve system, and the cortex that makes sense of it, to solve dexterity through whole-body force-awareness and deploy robots for thousands of tasks in industry and beyond. /ppWe are shaping a company where brilliant and unconventional people thrive together on solving the hardest challenges of our time. We are truth seekers. We reason from first principles, test our beliefs against reality, and trust that the best ideas can come from anyone. We move fast. We care deeply about our work and colleagues and are driven by passion to change the status quo. /ppIf this resonates, we're excited to hear from you. /ppstrongIn This Role You Will /strong /pullipstrongBridge the gap between core research and real-world deployment: /strong Transition our robot working in a lab to it providing value to our end customers. /p /lilipstrongSolve end-to-end integration challenges: /strong Iterate directly with the hardware and AI teams to improve our product and make sure it fits customer needs. /p /lilipstrongDrive field testing and iteration: /strong Lead on-site deployments (travel to customer sites expected), perform in-the-field debugging, and gather crucial real-world data to drive subsequent iterations of our technology.br/p /li /ulpstrongWhat We're Looking For /strong /pullipstrongSystems Integration proficiency: /strong A track record of navigating and interfacing with complex, foreign systems, APIs, and networks to build the bridges between our stack and the operational environments of our customers. /p /lilipstrongHands-on deployment experience: /strong Proven track record of taking software and hardware from a simulation/lab environment and successfully deploying it in unpredictable, real-world settings. /p /lilipstrongExcellent problem solving: /strong Ability to debug complex, multi-layered system failures - from hardware communication issues to model performance bottlenecks - without relying on existing documentation. /p /lilipstrongCommunication Collaboration: /strong A collaborative spirit and curiosity to continuously improve our product, together with researchers and customers, bringing physical AI from the lab to the real world.br/p /li /ulpstrongBonus Points If You Have /strong /pullipstrongDeep Learning deployment experience: /strong Familiarity with deploying models on edge hardware (Jetson Thor). /p /lilipstrongExperience Rust, C++, Python, Bazel, Nix, Linux. /strong /p /lilipThe ability to lift 20+ kg. /p /lilipConversational spoken German, French or Italian. /p /li /ulpstrongWhat we offer /strong /pullipThe opportunity to make a real impact working on some of the biggest challenges of our time /p /lilipA fast-paced learning environment alongside an outstanding, driven team /p /lilipOwnership from day one, with the ability to iterate quickly and see your impact firsthand in an early-stage startup /p /lilipVisa sponsorship relocation benefits to hire the best in the world /p /lilipA world-class in-person setup in central Zürich, with excellent prototyping, robotics, and technical infrastructure for hands-on builders /p /lilipCompetitive compensation and meaningful equity participation /p /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
