Overview
In this role you will shape long-term electronics sourcing strategies to secure resilient supplier relationships and reliable component supply. You will work with regional and global teams to implement category plans, drive supplier performance, and support sustainability and cost targets. You’ll engage with cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategy into concrete actions and improvements. This position offers international exposure and the chance to influence supply chains at a global scale.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Contribute to category strategies with market analysis and supplier insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Implement electronics components category plans in the assigned region in alignment with global teams
- Build and maintain relationships with regional/global stakeholders to ensure buy-in for category strategies
- Develop and manage strategic supplier portfolios including selection, qualification, negotiation, contract management, compliance, performance monitoring, and portfolio consolidation
- Own supplier performance in the region (supply continuity, quality, sustainability, cost reduction, delivery reliability)
- Drive supplier development plans and supply-chain optimization projects (cost initiatives, lean activities, inventory optimization, digitalization)
- Escalate and manage supply and quality issues with suppliers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years in strategic sourcing, preferably in electronics or a technical environment
- Strong knowledge of supplier management, contract management, and supply-chain processes; electronics purchasing knowledge is a plus
- Strategic and analytical mindset with ability to translate strategy into actions
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management in an international setting
- Collaborative mindset focused on customer needs and sustainable results
- Willingness to travel up to ~10%, mainly within Europe; very good English; German is a plus
