Functional Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
- Develop technical solutions related to functional safety in collaboration with specialist departments
- Create safety functions and documentation for functional safety
- Test safety functions (hardware and software) implementations
- Evaluate hardware and software solutions per functional safety standards
- Calculate Safety Integrity Level (SIL) and Performance Level (PL)
- Consult with external experts and authorities
Your Qualifications
- Master\’s or Bachelor\’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field with relevant experience
- Knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and ISO 12100 (risk assessment)
- Experience with industrial control systems and technical concepts
- Strong assertiveness and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in technical and business English
- ISO 13849 Functional Safety Engineer certification is an advantage
