In this role you plan and coordinate complex ocean transports for national and international projects, aligning operational logistics with project requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure transparent, efficient shipment planning and timely execution. You will monitor schedules, adjust plans in SAP-based systems, and visualize shipment data to support internal stakeholders. The role offers impact through process standardization and contributing to a single source of truth.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Plan ocean transports for national and international projects with a focus on schedule adherence and cost awareness
- Consolidate project requirements during operations to optimize cargo volumes
- Review SAP SCM network plan requirements and derive shipment plans
- Monitor schedule changes and adapt system-based planning accordingly
- Visualize shipment data for internal stakeholders using tools like Power BI
- Coordinate shipment volumes, material availability, delivery strategies, and port selections with internal interfaces
- Provide timely procurement notifications for ocean vessels to Global Procurement or Chartering
- Prepare packing lists to support structured operational execution
- Distribute central information on upcoming shipments to enable downstream processes
- Take a special role in process improvements and data standardization initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of professional experience in transport logistics, project logistics, ocean freight, or related coordinating roles
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification
- Experience managing or coordinating logistics projects with schedule, interfaces, and dependencies
- Strong understanding of operational logistics processes and ability to assess schedules, volumes, and dependencies
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP SCM, SAP R3, and Power BI is advantageous
- Analytical, solution-oriented, proactive work style with accountability
- Strong communication skills with internal teams, international contacts, and partners
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Interest in improving processes, data quality, and standardizing working methods
