We are seeking a:

Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) in the Energy Sector at

full-time in Henstedt-Ulzburg with some remote work.

Your Responsibilities:

• Supporting and advising our clients on all matters related to energy procurement and portfolio management
• Executing and documenting procurement processes for the commodities electricity and natural gas
• Managing and expanding the product portfolio for green electricity, green gas, and climate neutrality
• Optimizing our own portfolio based on specified risk guidelines
• Calculating and drafting supply contracts
• Managing external and internal reporting
• Monitoring and analyzing energy markets
• Further development of risk management
• Overseeing the national emissions trading scheme (BEHG) and the EU ETS-2
• Ensuring the proper execution of regulatory reporting (e.g., Remit)
• Preparing and conducting client meetings and presentations

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• A completed degree in economics or engineering, or a completed commercial or technical apprenticeship, qualifying the candidate to perform this role
• Initial professional experience in this or a similar role
• Conceptual, analytical, and interdisciplinary thinking
• Knowledge of relevant portfolio management software (e.g., SOPTIM PMS) is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel. Experience with VBA programming is a plus
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Fluency in German and good command of English
• High level of initiative and dedication
