- Your Responsibilities
- Regulatory Management – You will develop regulatory strategies and prepare applications for cost reviews and the establishment of revenue caps with the goal of optimizing revenue.
- Regulatory, legal, and internal company requirements – You will analyze regulatory, legal, and internal company requirements, evaluate options for action, and determine appropriate measures.
- Decision‑making support – You will prepare decision‑making materials for senior management and support negotiations with regulatory authorities through well‑founded analyses and meaningful information.
- Planning and Forecasting Process – You will develop revenue cap plans and manage the energy sector component of medium‑term planning.
- Planning result analysis – You analyze planning results, derive strategies for achieving company and corporate goals, and develop corresponding measures.
- Revenue cap planning implementation – You will develop measures based on the results of the planning process and implement them in revenue cap planning.
- Grid Valuations – You will conduct regulatory valuations for special projects related to grid leases, grid acquisitions, and investment projects.
- Grid valuation support – You will develop and evaluate course of action options, prepare well‑founded decision‑making documents, and advise management on possible courses of action.
- Reporting – You will prepare, analyze, and interpret reports, key performance indicators, and analyses for internal reporting.
- Reporting support – You will support quarterly and annual financial statements as well as planning and consolidated reporting processes by preparing relevant data and analyses.
- Contract Management – You will assist in drafting service agreements subject to regulatory requirements.
- Your Qualifications
- You have completed your college degree (Master’s / Diplom) in economics, industrial engineering, engineering, or a comparable field of study.
- You have several years of professional experience in the fields of regulation and network management.
- You have in‑depth knowledge of regulatory practices and the relevant energy laws and regulations, as well as the regulatory framework.
- You quickly analyze complex issues, think strategically, and use this to develop viable solutions and recommendations for action.
- You are characterized by a high degree of initiative, independence, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- You impress with your strong communication skills, assertiveness, and willingness to engage in dialogue, as well as your business‑level proficiency in spoken and written German.
