As a wholly owned subsidiary of energis GmbH and thus part of the VSE Group, we serve as a certification body for municipalities, municipal enterprises, and industrial companies, responsible for the integration of renewable energy systems into the electric power grid as well as for the calculation of electrical networks.
Your responsibilities:
- Review and verification of electrical drawings, plans, and schematic diagrams
- Verification of the plans for completeness in accordance with the requirements of the grid connection guidelines VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120
- Communication with customers (explaining technical matters, assisting with the application of grid connection guidelines, collecting any missing data)
- Preparation of quotes and contracts
- On-site inspections of electrical storage, PV, wind, and internal combustion power plants, including data collection at the facility and assisting customers with inspections in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120
- Conducting static and dynamic grid calculations
- Preparing declarations of conformity and plant reports in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4110 and VDE-AR-N 4120
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a specialization in electrical power systems
- In-depth knowledge of the network physics of electrical grids and grid calculations
- Interest in working with standards and guidelines, and the ability to understand and apply them
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Very good to fluent written and spoken German (C1 level)
- A structured, analytical, and conscientious approach to work
- Ability to work independently and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Class B driver’s license
