Our client is an established, family-owned German industrial company headquartered in Rheine. The company is a recognized market leader in its sectors and employs several thousand people.
The company is close to completing its S/4HANA migration and is looking for a new CIO due to the departure of the current one.
What will your tasks be?
- Management of the group-wide IT organization and direct reporting to the management.
- Management of the SAP S/4HANA project, including roadmap, governance, budget and stakeholder management.
- Management of the IT budget, the IT portfolio, and strategic relationships with suppliers and partners.
- To further develop and motivate a team of IT managers, architects and specialists, and to build a modern, service-oriented IT culture.
- To act as a trusted sparring partner for management and department heads on all technology-related issues.
What professional experience should you have?
- Several years of experience in senior IT management positions (CIO, IT Manager, Head of IT Department).
- Proven track record of success in managing large-scale ERP migrations, ideally with SAP S/4HANA.
- Solid knowledge in the field of industrial IT integration.
- Strong leadership qualities and experience in managing and developing large, decentralized IT teams.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, a practical attitude and a feel for the culture of a family business.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, up to the owner and management level.
- Fluent German and English skills.
