SAP SD/MM Consultant

Join an international organisation as part of its internal IT and Digital Transformation team. As a SAP SD/MM Consultant you will play a key role in developing and optimising SAP solutions across Materials Management and Sales & Distribution.

Working closely with business departments, international teams and external partners, you will help shape SAP processes, deliver projects and contribute to the strategic development of the company's SAP landscape.

Tasks

• Plan, support and deliver SAP projects with a focus on SAP MM and SD.
• Analyse business requirements and design, optimise and implement SAP-supported business processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Work closely with internal departments, international locations and external implementation partners.
• Support project and sub-project management, including requirements gathering and coordination.
• Provide SAP consulting, user support and training to business departments and end users.
• Take responsibility for the ongoing support and customising of SAP MM and SD applications.
• Contribute to the strategic development and future direction of the SAP MM and SD modules.

Profile

• Degree, vocational qualification or comparable experience in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Solid professional experience with SAP MM and/or SD, including support and customising.
• Experience working on SAP projects and coordinating project activities.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they interact within an SAP environment.
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, goal-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Very good German and good English language skills.
• Willingness to undertake occasional international business travel.
