SAP SD/EDI Consultant in Dortmund

About us Energize's client is an internationally operating technology business with a complex IT landscape and a strong focus on digital transformation, process optimization, and scalable technology solutions. As part of an extensive international SAP transformation programme, approximately 25 SAP S/4HANA migrations are planned over the coming years. To support this journey, we are looking for an experienced SAP SD/EDI Consultant who can help ensure seamless integration between core business processes and connected systems. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a long-term transformation programme while working remotely in an international, English-speaking environment. Tasks Support and optimize SAP SD processes, with a strong focus on end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC). Analyze, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI interfaces between SAP and external systems. Handle IDocs, including monitoring, error analysis, troubleshooting, and reprocessing. Act as the link between functional OTC requirements and technical EDI integration. Investigate integration issues and coordinate solutions with business stakeholders and technical teams. Ensure reliable data exchange across systems and support the continuous improvement of interface stability. Contribute to the evolution of the SAP integration landscape in preparation for upcoming S/4HANA migrations. Support integration-related activities within international transformation and rollout projects. Profile Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD and a solid understanding of end-to-end OTC processes. Practical experience with EDI integrations in an SAP environment. Good knowledge of IDocs, including monitoring, error analysis, and processing. Ability to bridge functional business requirements and technical integration topics. Experience with EDI middleware or integration platforms is an advantage. Experience in SAP S/4HANA projects or migration environments is beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and proactive approach. Fluent English is required; German is a plus. We offer 100% remote work from Germany.
