The internal HR IT team is now looking for an SAP HCM ABAP Developer / Inhouse Consultant to support the continued development and modernisation of its SAP HR landscape. The position is based in the Leipzig area and combines hands-on SAP development with technical consulting and customizing. Tasks Design, develop and enhance SAP HCM solutions using ABAP Maintain and optimise existing SAP HCM applications Work across areas such as Time Management, Payroll and Organisational Management Carry out SAP HCM customizing alongside technical development Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP HCM and connected HR systems Translate HR and business requirements into technical SAP solutions Work closely with HR, key users and other SAP specialists Participate in workshops and advise internal stakeholders Contribute to the continued modernisation of the company's HR systems Take ownership of selected development topics and projects Support troubleshooting, system updates and technical improvements Profile 2+ years of professional experience in SAP HCM development Strong hands-on ABAP development experience within SAP HCM Experience with SAP HCM customizing Knowledge of areas such as PT, PY and/or OM Experience developing interfaces and integrations within an SAP HR environment Knowledge of modern SAP development technologies is advantageous Exposure to cloud-based HR solutions would be beneficial Interest in developing your technical and functional SAP HCM knowledge Ideally B1 German Collaborative, open-minded and comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders We offer Permanent in-house SAP position Strong focus on hands-on ABAP development Work within a modern and evolving SAP HCM landscape Opportunity to deepen your expertise across PT, PY and OM Involvement in important HR digitalisation and transformation projects International working environment Long-term career prospects with an established employer Opportunity to take ownership of technical topics and projects Continued professional development within SAP HCM and modern SAP technologies Stable environment with SAP knowledge retained and developed internally Additional contact details Chloe McPherson Recruitment Executive | SAP chloem@energizerec.com +49 89 26207217
