ph3Your area of responsibility /h3 pAs Vice President Investments, you will be responsible for supporting the team throughout the investment lifecycle, starting from sourcing and execution of transactions to post-closing value creation and asset management tasks all the way to potential opportunistic sell-downs, with a particular focus on opportunities in the Swiss and German markets. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities: /p bDeal sourcing execution /b ul liIdentify and originate attractive investment opportunities in the energy infrastructure sector, leveraging your network and market insights /li liLead transaction execution, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparation of investment memoranda for the Investment Committee /li liManage due diligence processes across technical, legal, financial, tax, and commercial workstreams, coordinating external advisors and internal experts /li liStructure transactions, negotiate key terms with sellers, partners, and lenders, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements /li liDerive and present investment strategies aligned with EIP’s objectives and market dynamics /li /ul bAsset management /b ul liTake full ownership of assigned portfolio companies and assets, ensuring delivery of investor returns and strategic objectives /li liRepresent EIP on Boards of Directors where relevant, actively contributing to governance and decision-making /li liMonitor operational and financial performance, identify risks, and implement corrective measures when necessary /li liPrepare insightful client reporting and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders /li liDevelop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance portfolio value, such as operational improvements, growth strategies, and refinancing opportunities /li liCollaborate closely with management teams and internal expert functions to implement best practices and drive performance /li /ul bLeadership Team Development /b ul liMentor and guide analysts and associates, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration /li liEnsure efficient project management and knowledge sharing across the team /li /ul h3Your skills and experience /h3 ul liExcellent academic background with completed studies in business administration or natural/engineering sciences with a Master or Ph.D. degree from a globally recognized top-tier university or business school /li liAt least 7 years of investment experience working in the energy industry or on sizeable infrastructure transactions and/or investments globally /li liSignificant experience of managing a highly motivated teamand comfortable managing complex deals/projects /li liStrong network in the energy market with the ability to originate and source deals /li liProfound understanding and experience of MA transactions, gained from a substantial track record of transactions through conducting due diligence processes in the infrastructure sector and negotiating transactions independently /li liFamiliar with project financing and good commercial and technical expertise coupled witha strong understanding of the key value drivers and risks of potential investments that are in line with compliance requirements /li liStrong analytical and conceptual thinking and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex topics /li liIndependent, pro-active, flexible and entrepreneurial approach; therefore, a self-motivated personality with excellent communication skills and with a positive, can-do attitude /li liFluency in English is a must; other languages are an advantage /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liCompetitive remuneration package and fringe benefits /li liExciting position at an investment manager focused on the fastest growing infrastructure sectors /li liMultiple development opportunities in an expanding firm as part of a highly motivated team /li liAttractive and flexible working conditions such as remote work or home office /li /ul h3Contact /h3 /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
