pJob DescriptionJob Description /ph3General Description: /h3pTo facilitate knowledge and understanding of the SR quality system by; assists all employees in meeting its requirements, performing First Article, in-process and final inspections of products, conducting audits, and monitoring calibration of measurement tools. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliProcess Control (70%)ulliPerform process capability studies and PPAP/ISIR related activities /liliCollect data to establish or revise workmanship standards /liliAssist employees and supervisors to fill-in quality forms and determine disposition of non-conforming product /liliDevelop databases for various quality projects /liliMake recommendations for long-range quality system or process improvements /liliPerform first piece, in-process and final inspections as requested /liliCoordinate Quality System paperwork /liliUtilize various quality instruments to perform necessary inspections /li /ul /li /ululliProcess Monitoring (10%)ulliCollect, format information, analyze recorded charts, and provide summary analysis to appropriate managers /liliReport nonconforming material /liliOrganize quality documents and customer files /liliAssist employees in proper measurement methods /li /ul /li /ululliSchedule and control calibration of all inspection tools (10%)ulliPerform in-house calibration of all micrometers, calipers and miscellaneous gages /liliInitiate and coordinate outside calibration of instruments as required by schedule /liliParticipate in vendor certification to eliminate incoming inspection when applicable /li /ul /li /ululliAct as an auditor for internal quality audits (5%) /liliWrite customer correspondences when applicable (5%) /liliOther duties as required /li /ulh3Minimum Educational Qualifications: /h3ulliHigh school degree or equivalent /li /ulh3Other Skills: /h3ulliRelated mechanical experience /liliReading technical drawings or procedures /liliBasic math /liliUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
