The Flex creates flexible accommodation by operating and managing properties across multiple cities and countries. It combines hospitality, technology, and operational expertise to make renting a home as effortless as booking a hotel.

Задачи

• Lead and strengthen day-to-day financial controls and management reporting;
• Identify manual finance tasks and collaborate with engineering teams to automate them;
• Reconcile payments from Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, direct reservations, and other distribution partners;
• Reconcile bank accounts and incoming transactions, investigating and resolving discrepancies;
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Review supplier invoices and company expenses;
• Oversee statutory filings and corporate compliance across several jurisdictions;
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors, and banking partners;
• Assist with financial statements for landlords and property owners;
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time company performance visibility;
• Evaluate financial results across properties, cities, countries, and business units;
• Create and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models;
• Track cash flow and support planning for future funding and capital needs;
• Detect financial risks, discrepancies, and potential revenue leakage;
• Review the cost base and identify opportunities to strengthen margins;
• Partner with operational teams to understand, control, and reduce property-level costs;
• Contribute to financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments, and expansion into new markets;
• Communicate financial findings, recommendations, and actionable insights to founders and management.

• Strong analytical ability and confidence working with numbers;
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy;
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial principles;
• Ability to work with significant volumes of financial and operational data;
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets;
• Strong financial reconciliation, controls, and problem-solving skills;
• Commercial mindset and ability to understand the wider business implications of financial results;
• Strong ownership, responsibility, and accountability;
• Ability to work independently, find solutions, and navigate unfamiliar challenges;
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Confidence communicating and working directly with senior management;
• Genuine interest in technology, automation, and AI;
• Ambition to grow quickly and take on substantially greater responsibility;
