A cornerstone in providing great deals to shoppers is enabling and supporting the deal owners and the selling partners to create and manage high-quality deals. WW Promotions – Berlin is looking for a Software Development Engineer who has a strong sense of ownership and customer obsession. We are looking for enthusiastic developers who have experience building state-of-the-art software systems. As a Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities range from reviewing product requirements and designing the software architecture that fulfills them, to translating the requirements to engineering tasks and implementing them. You will be responsible for delivering production-ready code that will be used by thousands of deal managers and millions of Amazon customers. Together with the product team, you will own end-to-end the seller experience of Amazon WW Promotions. As a software development engineer on the Amazon WW Promotions team, you will have a huge impact on the way deal managers work on a daily basis.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
