ppContext /ppAs part of the development of advanced communication products designed for demanding aerospace environments, our client is strengthening its Product Development team in Lausanne. /ppWe are looking for a bSenior Mechanical Engineer (M/F) /b to contribute to the design and development of highly integrated mechanical systems, working at the intersection of mechanical engineering, electronics, thermal management and system integration. /ppYou will be involved throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept development and architecture definition through design, validation and manufacturing. /ppYour role /ppAs a bSenior Mechanical Engineer /b, you will be responsible for the design and development of complex mechanical solutions meeting demanding requirements in terms of performance, reliability, size, weight and environmental conditions. /ppYou will contribute to system-level architecture and technical trade-offs while working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams. /ppYou will play a key role in transforming early-stage concepts into validated and manufacturable products. /ph3Tasks /h3pResponsibilities /ppbMechanical Design Architecture /b /pulliDrive requirements, architecture definition and technical trade-offs. /liliDesign and develop highly integrated mechanical assemblies and components. /liliDevelop and rapidly evaluate concepts during early project phases. /liliCreate parametric CAD designs for complex mechanical systems. /li /ulpbThermal Management Simulation /b /pulliPerform thermal simulations and contribute to thermal management strategies. /liliDevelop electronic cooling solutions adapted to demanding operating environments. /liliConsider the specific constraints associated with aerospace and space applications. /li /ulpbSystem Integration /b /pulliWork closely with Systems, Hardware, RF, Optical, Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams. /liliContribute to the integration of mechanical, electrical, RF and optical subsystems. /liliParticipate in system-level architecture decisions and technical trade-offs. /li /ulpbPrototyping, Integration Testing /b /pulliTake a hands-on approach to prototyping, assembly and integration. /liliParticipate in product testing and validation activities. /liliSupport the transition from engineering concepts to production-ready solutions. /li /ulpbManufacturing Suppliers /b /pulliApply Design-for-Manufacturing principles throughout the development process. /liliWork with external suppliers, manufacturing partners and test facilities. /liliEnsure successful product realization and manufacturing feasibility. /li /ulpbTechnical Documentation /b /pulliDocument technical solutions, analyses and test findings. /liliPrepare clear and concise technical reports. /liliCommunicate engineering recommendations effectively in an international environment. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3pYour profile /pulliMaster's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. /liliSignificant experience in mechanical product development and design. /liliStrong expertise in parametric CAD design. /liliSolid experience in thermal simulations and thermal management of electronic systems. /liliExperience with system-level architectures involving mechanical, electrical, RF and/or optical disciplines. /liliExperience developing products for harsh operating environments. /liliExperience in baerospace, space or satellite applications /b is a strong advantage. /liliHands-on experience with prototyping, assembly, integration and testing. /liliGood understanding of manufacturing processes and Design-for-Manufacturing principles. /liliExperience with tools such as bSolidWorks, Ansys Mechanical, Discovery, Icepak and/or Mathcad /b. /liliStrong technical documentation and communication skills. /liliFluent in English, both written and spoken. /liliAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3pPosition conditions /pullibLocation: /b Lausanne, Switzerland /lilibEmployment rate: /b 100% /lilibSalary: /b CHF 100,000 – 140,000 gross/year, depending on profile and experience /lilibOn-site presence: /b Minimum 3 days per week /li /ulpRecruitment process /ppThe ENOVA recruitment process generally consists of several steps: /pulliAn initial video interview (Teams) to discuss your background and introduce ENOVA. /liliA second interview with an ENOVA manager. /liliAn interview with the client's technical teams. /liliA final discussion to formalize the collaboration. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
