We are hiring a System Engineer (M/F) for a renowned Swiss organization based in Zurich.
Tasks
- All-rounder hands-on tasks that include: escalated support assistance, interacting with internal clients, ensuring data security, maintaining physical and virtual server infrastructure, and ongoing performance tuning on prod/preprod/validation/integration environments.
- 24/7 Third level support on Windows servers, Redhat servers, VMware infrastructure on prod (regulated) environment.
Main characteristics/scope
- Support of VMware infrastructure in Dübendorf running on Prod/Preprod/Validation and Integration.
- Support of future VMware Enterprise Edge infrastructure in Dübendorf and Geneva running on Prod and Preprod.
- Support of RedHat and Windows servers.
- Support of Storage and backup infrastructure.
- Automation of recurring tasks. Creation of base image for Redhat and Windows servers.
Requirements
Experience in Tools
- Jira, Confluence
Technical competences and skills
- Extensive experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
- Expertise in Virtualized infrastructure running under VMware.
- Expertise on OS Redhat or Windows servers.
- Extensive experience on SAN storage (HPE).
- Extensive experience on backup infrastructure running under Veeam. Datacenter experience, with both virtual and bare metal hosts.

Our recruitment process

- If you are shortlisted, the second interview is also by video conference or face-to-face to meet other people, generally the manager managing the client business relations, and to know more about the collaboration.
- After gathering all the information for an Enova-consultant collaboration, we organize a meeting and/or a technical interview with the client technical team.
- If we see each other working together in an Enova collaboration, we present you during a last interview the contract that we want to propose, ideally in our office.
During this recruitment process, we communicate by phone and by mail and we can invite you to meet our teams in our office or the client’s team.
