Job Description

Strategic Leadership and Planning:

1. Develop and execute strategic plans for IT infrastructure, including both systems and network components.
2. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to improve system and network performance, scalability, and security.

Team Management and Development:

1. Lead and mentor a team responsible for both IT systems (e.g., Entra, Intune) and network infrastructure (e.g., Cisco Meraki, VPN).
2. Define roles, set objectives, and ensure the team has the tools and skills needed for success.

System Administration and Optimization:

1. Oversee the administration and optimization of IT systems, including:
2. Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) for identity management.
3. Microsoft Intune and Jamf for endpoint management.
4. Office 365, MS Defender, and Atlassian tools.

Network Infrastructure:

1. Direct the management of Cisco Meraki network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
2. Oversee the configuration and maintenance of VPN solutions for secure and seamless remote access.
3. Ensure high availability and reliability of network services, addressing connectivity and performance challenges.
4. Collaborate with IT security teams to apply and enforce network security policies.

Project and Budget Management:

1. Plan and execute projects related to network and systems infrastructure, including upgrades, migrations, and office expansions.
2. Manage budgets for IT systems and network infrastructure, ensuring cost efficiency.

Security and Compliance:

1. Define and implement policies for network security, access controls, and endpoint protection.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security frameworks for all systems and networks.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or ITIL Practitioner, are highly desirable.
3. 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, including managing enterprise networks and systems.
4. In-depth knowledge of Cisco Meraki infrastructure, VPN solutions, and secure network configurations.
5. Proven expertise in managing enterprise IT systems, including Microsoft Entra, Intune, Office 365, and Atlassian tools.
6. Strong understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, routing, and IP configuration.
7. Strong leadership and mentoring skills to build and lead a high-performing IT team.
8. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
