Sportsbook Analyst DACH MFD

As a Sportsbook Analyst for the DACH markets, you will develop data analysis and reports to measure and inform Sportsbook initiatives and use those insights to guide business decisions.

Through cross-functional collaboration and inventive metrics building, you will enable teams across our organization to make smarter, better, and faster decisions.

Your primary responsibilities will include effectively managing the day-to-day activities and business levels of our Sportsbook.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain high-quality data products and dashboards enabling teams across the organization to access self-service insights.
• Present data-driven and actionable insights to stakeholders through impactful plans and presentations.
• Monitor Sportsbook performance and diagnose areas of opportunity. Example areas include high-value customer analysis, state and sport trends, and competitive analysis.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis, predictive model development, implementation, and maintenance to provide powerful odds in comparison to industry standards along with best prices on the DACH market, as well as improving specific sport models that predict required markets while developing trading tools and improving their quality.
• Analyze customer behavior and conduct experiments to measure the direct impact of new merchandising, product, and trading initiatives.
• Drive new workflows for the expanding Sportsbook team, conducting open-ended research to generate ideas and optimize processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver your insights and recommendations to key stakeholders across Operations, Trading, Product, and Data Science.
• Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize the user experience and increase customer engagement.

Qualifications:

• Native or fluent German language skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
• At least 3 years of advanced analytics or data science experience in a work or academic setting.
• Understanding of statistics and hypothesis testing, including design of A/B testing and experiments.
• Ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into clear actionable recommendations for various stakeholders.
• A real passion for sport and an inherent understanding of what sports fans want to be entertained.
• Solid understanding of sportsbook operations, betting markets, and sports events.
• Analytical minded, able to understand and overcome technically complex challenges.
• A proactive and curious mindset and strong communication skills.
