Overview
In this role you design and evolve data integration solutions for the Intelligent Grid Platform, connecting diverse external sources to live grid data. You work within the Engineering team to enable real-time measurement data inflow and asset information, driving reliable end-to-end integrations. You optimize the integration framework for faster onboarding, observability, and performance across batch and streaming workloads. You contribute to data digitization efforts and uphold industry best practices in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This role offers a chance to shape a mission-critical platform for sustainable energy management.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Build end-to-end measurement integrations from external sources to live ingestion and storage
- Design and improve the measurement integration framework for reliability and speed
- Own the full integration lifecycle including data normalization and ID mappings
- Contribute to the ETL framework for grid data from heterogeneous sources
- Optimize components for performance, reliability, and observability in batch and streaming workloads
- Promote continuous improvement and adherence to industry best practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 2+ years of backend data engineering or API integration experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field
- Practical Python programming experience
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL or TimescaleDB
- Experience integrating with external APIs or streaming systems (Kafka, MQTT, REST, gRPC)
- Familiarity with IoT or energy-domain protocols (MQTT, IEC104) and real-time data pipelines
- Team player with strong problem-solving mindset and English proficiency (C1)
