We are looking for a true technical leader - not just a builder who takes tickets and writes code. You must have a strong "product brain" and a deep understanding of business objectives, allowing you to shape "what" we are building just as much as "how" we build it. In this role, you will lead a development team, partner closely with our Technical Project Manager and Product Head, and act as a primary technical face to our clients. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTechnical Leadership: Architect, guide, and drive the hands-on development of the POC. Build, lead and mentor a team of developers, setting high standards for code quality and engineering best practices. /li liProduct Engineering: Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution. Proactively challenge assumptions, suggest product improvements, and ensure the technology solves the core business problem. /li liClient Engagement: Confidently lead technical discussions with external clients and internal stakeholders. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language and gather actionable requirements. /li liStrategic Execution: Work in lockstep with the Technical Project Manager to ensure milestones are hit. Quickly pivot architecture or development strategies when business needs evolve. /li liEnd-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for the technical delivery of the project, from initial system design through to a successful POC deployment. /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience: Proven track record as a Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Staff Engineer with hands-on experience designing and building scalable applications. /li liLeadership: Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and unblocking engineering teams to deliver under tight deadlines. /li liClient-Facing Skills: Strong executive presence and communication skills. You must be comfortable presenting to clients, answering technical questions on the spot, and managing stakeholder expectations. /li liProduct Acumen: A deep understanding of product development lifecycles. You care deeply about the user experience and business impact, not just the underlying code. /li liDomain Knowledge: Background in the Finance or Technology sectors, with an understanding of complex business logic. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) /h3 ul liIndustry Expertise: Direct experience in Banking, Consumer Lending, or Wealth Management is highly advantageous. /li liConsulting Background: Previous experience in a client‑facing technology consulting role /li liLanguage Skills: Proficiency in German is a bonus, though English is the only strict requirement. /li /ul h3Engagement Details /h3 pThis position is available as either a temporary 3-month contract (to successfully deliver the current POC by the end of the year) or as a full-time role.
