Job Description The Company Our client is an established family-owned international manufacturer in the consumer goods industry with a long-standing presence in the German-speaking market.
To support the next phase of its development in Europe, we are looking for a senior leader to lead the operational and organisational transformation of the German entity, with the perspective to assume comprehensive Managing Director responsibility. industry: consumer goods location: Germany (regular travel within Germany required) Your Responsibilities You lead the operational and organisational transformation of the German business and develop the structures required for its future development for central Europe incl. relocation of the existing premises incl. execution You review and further develop the organisation, processes and responsibilities with a clear focus on efficiency, scalability and operational excellence.
You shape the future logistics, warehousing and distribution setup and manage the implementation of appropriate in-house and/or third-party solutions.
You further develop supply-chain and inventory processes and ensure effective coordination between the German organisation and international operations.
You take responsibility for operational and financial planning, including budgets, costs, KPIs and performance management.
You manage key external partners and lead relevant commercial and contractual negotiations.
You develop the future organisational setup and lead change processes within the German business environment.
You work closely with the international shareholders and management team and, following a successful initial phase, assume comprehensive Managing Director / statutory Geschäftsführer responsibility for the German business.
Your Profile Extensive senior leadership experience in operations, logistics, supply chain or general management.
Proven experience leading complex operational transformation projects, ideally including site relocations, warehouse implementations or greenfield operations.
Strong background in warehouse management, distribution, supply chain and operational excellence.
Sound experience within the German or DACH business environment, including organisational change and employee-related matters.
Experience working with works councils, external advisors and other relevant stakeholders is highly desirable.
Strong commercial understanding combined with experience in budgeting, KPIs and financial performance management.
Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style and strong organisational skills.
Business fluent in German and English.
