EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and software development services, with two offices in Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva).We're looking for a Murex Front Office Application Manager to join our team onsite in Lausanne. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day stability and production support of a critical trading platform, ensuring reliability across trade capture, valuation and risk processes throughout the trading day and end-of-day cycle. This includes monitoring, incident resolution and proactive engagement with business users to maintain smooth front-office operations in a high-demand environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and operate trade capture, valuation, market data and end-of-day batch processesServe as the primary escalation point for business users on system issues and data discrepanciesInvestigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across platform components and interfacesOwn the front-office support queue, manage SLAs and coordinate activities with L2/L3 teams and vendorsPerform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problemsSupport end-of-day, month-end and reporting processes for accurate and timely deliveryMaintain clear documentation, escalation procedures and on-call readinessAssist in testing and deployment readiness for patches, upgrades and vendor releasesRequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in application support or operations within a trading platform environment (Murex MX.3 or similar)Hands-on knowledge of front-office modules, trade lifecycle and risk-related functionalityStrong SQL skills and familiarity with platform datamart structuresUnderstanding of system architecture, integrations, market data workflows and batch schedulingProficiency in Unix/Linux environments and basic scripting (Shell, Python)Experience with incident, problem and change management (ITIL preferred)Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldFluent in English, German or French is a plusWe offer5 weeks of vacationEPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Enhanced parental leaveExtended pension planDaily sickness allowance insuranceEmployee assistance programGlobal business travel medical and accident insuranceLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses• Please note that any offers will be subject to appropriate background checks• We do not accept CVs from recruiting or staffing agencies• For this position, we are able to consider applications from the following:- Swiss nationals- EU/EFTA nationals- Third-country nationals based in Switzerland with an appropriate work permit- Displaced people from Ukraine who are currently in Switzerland and hold, or have already applied for, S permits
