In this role you will be close to business users, acting as the onsite counterpart to offshore engineers. SQL and Oracle are central to the energy data management platform, shaping how data models, formulas and calculations support business outcomes. The team’s work directly impacts operational efficiency and market responsiveness. Your expertise helps ensure seamless integration, performance and security for critical applications. The work matters because reliable energy data management drives market stability and supports regional growth.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and navigate the data model using SQL and develop and maintain the formulas and calculations required within the platformCollaborate with development teams to design and implement technical solutionsContinuously enhance the application to align with business and IT goalsSolve user challenges and support their needs with a solution-oriented mindsetEnsure seamless integration of new functionality into existing systemsMaintain high standards of application performance and security and implement security measuresDevelop solutions independentlyWork with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and improve application performance and security across both Run and Build activitiesRequirements7+ years of experience in application development or engineeringStrong SQL skills (Oracle, PL/SQL) applied to application development, including reading complex data models, writing queries and building formulas and calculation logic (this is not a database administration role)A solid grasp of business processes and technical requirements with a passion for delivering exceptional customer serviceBachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent professional certificationExcellent communication skills in EnglishNice to haveTwo years of experience in an agile IT environmentGerman and French language skillsExperience with energy data management platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr
