Solution Architect - AI (m/f/d)

We're looking for a Solution Architect – AI (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt, Stuttgart or Munich, Germany, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will design AI solution architectures for enterprise‑scale engagements, focusing on Generative AI and agentic systems. The position combines hands‑on technical delivery, advisory and pre‑sales activities, using a shift‑left approach to share AI knowledge and accelerate capability‑building across teams. You will participate in client workshops, architecture reviews and executive discussions, gaining the experience required to progress toward senior architecture leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI solution architectures for enterprise engagements across multiple industries
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align solutions with client objectives
• Champion a shift‑left approach by sharing reusable patterns and mentoring team members
• Architect Gen‑AI and agentic solutions including LLM integration, RAG, vector stores and orchestration
• Translate business, security and regulatory requirements into technical designs referencing ISO 27001, GDPR and DORA
• Ensure architecture governance and maintain documentation throughout program phases
• Partner with delivery teams to validate designs and resolve technical trade‑offs
• Support pre‑sales with architecture blueprints, technical proposals and client presentations
• Engage in client workshops and participate in architecture councils across engagements
• Evaluate emerging AI and cloud technologies for feasibility and share recommendations with the practice

Requirements

• 6–10 years of IT experience including 3+ years in solution or technical architecture
• Strong practical experience designing Generative AI solutions including LLM integration and RAG patterns
• Experience in at least one of the following: building or extending agentic platforms, delivering solutions where AI agents execute implementation with human oversight, integrating AI‑for‑Business capabilities into live production systems
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP and related integration patterns
• Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks including ISO 27001, DORA and GDPR
• Strong understanding of model-risk and data‑handling practices in regulated environments
• Excellent communication skills for client‑facing engagements
• Fluency in German and English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Nice to have Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
• Exposure to AI governance and model risk management practices
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Hands‑on experience with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code
• Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) or TOGAF
• Previous experience in consulting or client‑facing roles
