Technical Business Analyst in Zürich

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for a banking platform in Zurich, Switzerland in a hybrid working mode.In this role, you will combine deep functional knowledge of platform architecture with analytical thinking and operational insight. You will investigate how platform components interact, translate platform data into actionable insights and support platform operations and enhancement initiatives. Working in an agile environment with AI-enabled capabilities, you will help drive informed decision-making and the successful execution of the platform strategy.ResponsibilitiesMaintain deep functional knowledge of the banking platform, including API product specifications, consent management, transaction signing, authentication and supporting platform capabilitiesAnalyse data across platform components, API usage, operational metrics and ecosystem interactions to deliver actionable insights and meaningful reportingInvestigate platform behaviour, troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes and explain dependencies across platform componentsCreate and maintain documentation, guidance and reusable knowledge assets to improve platform understanding and supportabilityProvide domain expertise and impact assessments to support platform enhancements and operational excellenceRecommend improvements to platform reliability, transparency and efficiencyCollaborate with engineering, operations, support, product and business teams to clarify platform dependencies and support informed decisionsRequirementsDegree in computer science or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience in software delivery, platform engineering, systems analysis, solution design or technology operationsExperience working with enterprise platforms involving interconnected systems, teams, processes, controls and technology dependenciesAbility to understand end-to-end service landscapes, functional architectures, business processes and system interactionsAbility to assess impacts and dependencies across platform componentsStrong analytical skills with the ability to combine information from multiple sources, identify patterns and translate findings into recommendations, reporting and decision-support artefactsExperience with database design, SQL and scripting languages such as Python for data analysis and automationExperience using modern analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau or Microsoft Fabric to generate insightsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences and create effective documentation, guidance, reporting and reusable knowledge assetsPractical experience with generative AI tools and LLMsFluent English language knowledge and German language proficiency at B1 level or higherWe offer5 weeks of vacationEPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Enhanced parental leaveExtended pension planDaily sickness allowance insuranceEmployee assistance programGlobal business travel medical and accident insuranceLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses• Please note that any offers will be subject to appropriate background checks• We do not accept CVs from recruiting or staffing agencies• For this position, we are able to consider applications from the following:- Swiss nationals- EU/EFTA nationals- Third-country nationals based in Switzerland with an appropriate work permit- Displaced people from Ukraine who are currently in Switzerland and hold, or have already applied for, S permits
