About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled SAP Consulting / Engineering Manager to lead our SAP Team and oversee the implementation and delivery of various SAP programs.

At EPAM, you will have the opportunity to enhance our SAP business growth across the DACH region as an architect and specialist, and to cultivate our onsite team of professionals supporting regional projects. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing flexibility to work from home with occasional client site visits.

What Youll Do

• Build and manage a team of SAP experts, providing direction, guidance, and support
• Be accountable for technical and functional leadership, architecture, and quality standards
• Provide expertise in SAP configuration, customization, and integration
• Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and promote continuous learning
• Foster collaboration between SAP consulting, engineering teams, and other departments
• Communicate business values of SAP solutions and how they contribute to business goals
• Prepare estimates for project timelines, budgets, resources, and quality attributes
• Coordinate customer proposals and statements of work for SAP projects
• Work with architects and project teams to analyze, design, build, test, and implement SAP solutions
• Manage customer expectations, relationships, and issues with account managers
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory standards

What You Have

• Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Fluent in German and English
• 8+ years of SAP consulting and engineering experience, focusing on SAP S/4HANA and SAP DSC implementations
• Strong leadership skills with successful SAP team management experience
• Deep knowledge of SAP products, architecture, customization, and integration
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and industry-trend aware

Nice to have

• Expertise in SAP product capabilities, methodologies, and technologies such as SAP Activate, SAP Transformation, SAP Data & Analytics, and industry-specific solutions
