I’m working with a UK humanoid robotics company that is hiring senior mechanical engineering talent across Europe, including Germany.
They’re building a new generation of humanoid robots for real world use and are growing the team with engineers from some of the strongest robotics, automotive, aerospace and advanced hardware companies in the market.
They’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to work very close to the hardware and take real ownership of what gets built.
The work will include things like:
- robotic joints and mechanical assemblies
- actuators and moving systems
- CAD and detailed mechanical design
- simulation, validation and testing
- weight, strength and reliability improvements
- prototyping and manufacturing
- working closely with controls, electronics and software teams
- taking designs from early concept into real physical hardware
They’re particularly interested in people coming from humanoid robotics, industrial robotics, aerospace, motorsport, automotive or other high performance engineering environments.
You do not need to have worked on humanoids before.
What matters is strong mechanical fundamentals, experience building complex physical products and the ability to own difficult engineering problems from start to finish.
