What to do:

• Develop modern, high-performance and scalable web applications using Java and modern and older technologies

• Implement appealing UI/UX designs in close collaboration with design and backend teams

• Design, develop and optimize reusable components and modules

• Use and extend coding standards with the team, cover test cases and support the product owner with the backlog

• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit tests and continuous improvements of existing architectures

• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to specify and implement new features.

• Participate in the design of the agile software development process and take care of the further development and optimization of the existing software products during operation

• Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility

• Develop or extend legacy web applications

• Implement and utilize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments

You check these boxes:

• Demonstrate hands-on experience as a frontend software developer with a passion for \“clean coding.\“

• Possess strong Java skills, along with knowledge of modern source frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).

• Have experience in building interactive applications with frontend technologies preferably Angular. Additionally, knowledge of Angular Js, React Js, Javascript and JQuery would also be welcome.

• Have experience with design patterns, unit, and integration tests.

• Have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Demonstrate proficiency in writing epics and user stories.

• Exhibit motivation through curiosity, commitment, and creativity when introducing and implementing new topics.

• Display the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues as a team player.

• Very good command of German and English.

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted – the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 60.844 ,– gross per year.
