Erzb. Ordinariat is the administrative center of the Archdiocese of Bamberg, which has a history spanning over 1000 years. It encompasses more than 300 parishes organized into 35 pastoral areas, serving approximately 560,000 Catholics and employing around 7,300 staff members. The organization plays a crucial role in the management and support of religious and community services across large parts of Upper and Middle Franconia, extending into Lower Franconia and the Upper Palatinate.
