Position: Research Assistant (m/f/d) 50% of the regular weekly working hours
At the Chair of Technology and Operations Management (Prof. Dr. Chuanwen Dong) of the ESCP Business School, Campus Berlin, a position is to be filled as soon as possible for the role of:
What are the tasks?
- Research: You will work closely with Prof. Dr. Chuanwen Dong on one of the three topics upon mutual agreement: sustainable supply chain management, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence methods and applications. The findings of the research are expected to be published in high-quality journals.
- Assistant of the doctoral program: You will assist in managing the doctoral program at ESCP Berlin.
- Service to the chair/school: You will participate in activities aimed at raising the profile of the chair and ESCP Berlin.
What are the requirements?
- You have the passion and curiosity for research, especially in one of the three aforementioned topics. A preference for an academic career in the future would be an added advantage.
- You will soon receive or have already received your master’s degree with above-average grades in applied mathematics, economics, operations research, computer science, information systems, data analytics, or other similar disciplines. Demonstrated strengths (coursework, working experience, etc.) in mathematical analysis, programming, and project management would be an added advantage.
- You communicate fluently in written and spoken English. Good knowledge in academic English and German would be an added advantage.
