Position: Research Assistant (m/f/d) – 50% of the regular weekly working hours
At the Chair of International Economics (Prof. Dr. Gonçalo Pina) of the ESCP Business School, Campus Berlin, a position is to be filled as soon as possible for the role of:
Responsibilities
- Research: You will work closely with Prof. Dr. Gonçalo Pina on one of three topics upon mutual agreement: behavioral economics using sports data, international finance, and macroeconomics. The research is expected to be published in leading journals.
- Service to the chair/school: You will participate in activities aimed at raising the profile of the chair and ESCP Business School.
Requirements
- Completed or are about to complete a master‘s degree in economics, finance, management, or data science with outstanding performance.
- Some experience in statistical programming (for example, MATLAB, Python, R, or Stata).
- Interest in research and academic work.
- Very good English language skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
- You will be admitted to the Berlin PhD program at ESCP Business School.
Work location (home office or office on campus) and working hours can be flexible by arrangement. You will be part of a large international research community that includes 6 European campuses with many professors and other PhD students. Inter-campus mobility is possible.
