Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and continuous improvement of our AMHS hardware.
• For complex issues, you will conduct root cause analyses (8D, FMEA, SPC) and implement sustainable solutions.
• You will lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving productivity, quality and cost efficiency - from planning through to performance review.
• You will evaluate new equipment and materials, work closely with suppliers and develop in-house hardware solutions to meet operational needs.
• You will lead and mentor a team of technicians and junior engineers, share your knowledge and foster team spirit through clear communication.
• You will actively assist with installation and coordinate upgrades in close collaboration with other departments.

Your profile

• You are a proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is willing to take on responsibility.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
• Professional experience in the semiconductor industry is required.
• In-depth knowledge of optimization algorithms, control systems and mechanical automation.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA and 8D problem-solving.
• Hands-on mentality, resilience and the ability to motivate and lead teams professionally.
• Fluent in English (company language). Basic communication skills in German is a plus.
• Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan, 9 to 12 months.
