The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is seeking to recruit a CRM Specialist (full-time, 1 year fixed term), ideally beginning as soon as possible or at a mutually agreed date.

ESMO is a learned society for the medical oncology profession. The Society aims to provide its members with a range of professional services to improve standards of practice of medical oncology by enhancing the knowledge and competence of its members. The Society also provides a voice for the profession at a political level.

Within the IT Department, the CRM Specialist will provide support to the business unit activities. In particular, he/she will focus on the Core Solutions, which includes the CRM solution (currently Salesforce.com) as the main platform and other tools required to support sales, customer relationship, and product/service delivery business processes (virtual events platform, Titandxp, CTI platforms).

The role will primarily be engaged in the service management of the current solutions as a front-office responsible. Secondarily, he/she will be in charge of project-related tasks based on the product lifecycle. Activities and tasks include:

  1. Business and processes analysis
  2. Data loading
  3. Users and permissions management
  4. Objects and fields management
  5. Operativity on customer community
  6. Forms creation and management
  7. Ticket management

The specialist will ensure that the users’ requirements are identified, prioritized, and shared with all relevant stakeholders. Solutions are planned, budgeted, implemented, and operated in a manner that supports the goals and operational needs of the Information Technology and Digital Services department and ESMO as a whole.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering, Business Administration
  2. Experience implementing/managing Salesforce systems
  3. At least 3 years of directly relevant professional experience
  4. Experience with events management platforms is a welcome plus
  5. Strong Salesforce admin skills (Flows, reporting, data loader, data model design, formulas, and validation rules)
  6. Salesforce Apex coding is a welcome plus
  7. Proficient in English – written and spoken; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  8. Salesforce certifications are a welcome plus
  9. Swiss resident or available to relocate

Lack of education titles could be compensated by robust professional experience.
