Site Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for monitoring, planned servicing, and corrective maintenance on critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment.
• Manage routine plant inspections and act as a first-line response to issues.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and company processes.
• Conduct vendor management to maximize uptime/SLA and improve PUE.
• Interact with external and internal stakeholders, including Service Planning, Security, third-party suppliers, and customers.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical experience in an electrical or industrial environment.
• Expertise in operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical or mechanical systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
• Basic knowledge of coordinating subcontractors and customer interfaces.
• Understanding of passive data networks.
• Experience in data centers or similar critical/high-availability infrastructure is desirable.
• Experience in dealing with customers.
• Fluent in German and advanced in English.
• Self-management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks proactively.
• Stress resilience, prioritization skills.
• Ability to evaluate risks and solve complex problems.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
