Our mission at SafeAD is to bring autonomous driving to the masses. Therefore we develop a next-generation autonomous driving perception and scene understanding system: It does not rely on expensive sensors or HD maps but follows a mapless, vision-first, all-AI philosophy.

In this role, you’ll:

1. Improve and develop additional features of our multi-task scene understanding AI model
2. Optimize and deploy the model to run on production hardware
3. Test your software in our self-driving vehicle

At a minimum we’d like you to have:

1. MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics or equivalent experience
2. Experience solving problems using Machine Learning with PyTorch
3. Strong experience programming in C++ and Python
4. A strong team player and learning mindset

It’s preferred if you have:

1. Hands-on experience in the fields of autonomous driving and computer vision
2. Experience in applying machine learning to 3D scene understanding tasks
3. Have worked in mid to large software projects
