Eulitha is a Swiss deep technology company developing advanced lithography equipment for emerging applications in photonics. As an expert on Lithography and Patterning in our Research & Development (R&D) team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our solutions serving our customers’ diverse applications. You will be responsible for driving the development and optimization of lithographic processes and materials. Your work will directly contribute to the creation of next-generation photonic devices and systems by our customers as well as Eulitha’s lithography services. This role requires a deep and broad understanding of lithographic techniques, materials science and semiconductor processes as well as a strong ability to innovate and solve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Understand the current and future patterning needs of our customers and match those with available technologies present at Eulitha and elsewhere to prepare and offer effective solutions
- Discover, develop, adapt and optimize lithographic and patterning processes based on application needs of Eulitha’s customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Eulitha’s proprietary lithography technologies and materials
- Conduct experiments, analyze data and develop models to understand and improve lithographic processes
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in lithography and related fields and integrate new knowledge into Eulitha’s R&D and commercial patterning efforts
- Troubleshoot and solve complex lithographic process issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable production outcomes
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and progress to internal and external stakeholders
Profile
- Ph.D. degree in a related field
- Extensive, diverse and demonstrated experience in lithography, including photoresist and pattern transfer processes
- Proven track record of successful R&D projects, for example in scientist or postdoc roles in academic and industrial laboratories
- Outstanding grasp of technology and good analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement
- Fluency (written and spoken) in English.
