As part of euNetworks continued customer and infrastructure growth, we are excited to be looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Enterprise Sales team in Germany. You will have the opportunity to work across all verticals. This is a hybrid role with the need to manage existing accounts and identify and target new logos from the local market. With your extensive sales background and solid technical knowledge, you will be able to significantly grow the revenue from existing customers through building excellent relationships and up-selling and cross-selling from our suite of products and services.
What will you be doing?
- Exceptional relationships with existing and new logo customers, utilizing your contacts and strong networking skills to build a qualified pipeline and meet challenging revenue targets.
- Understanding the latest trends and developments in our industry worldwide with the ability to present and share knowledge with colleagues to improve their learning.
- Campaigns and attending events to help deliver revenue growth targets.
- Delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and advocacy across all customers through personal activity and leveraging the wider teams.
- Work closely with your Director and virtual team, using your skills and knowledge to develop and execute the in-country strategy by which euNetworks will continue to grow a profitable customer portfolio.
- Collaborate with the virtual team supporting your accounts, in terms of both BAU and the future development of integration and automation, as well as other innovative new products and solutions.
- Engage with all other euNetworks teams such as Network Development, Marketing, Pricing and Products.
- Efficiently manage sales activity through Salesforce.com, paying particular attention to data integrity.
- Maintaining a broad technical knowledge and making valuable contributions to discussions regarding leading and emerging technologies, using this to influence both customers and internal stakeholders.
Team structure: You will be providing guidance and support to Account Managers, Junior Account Managers, Sales Graduates. You will receive guidance and support from Sales Directors, Senior Management, Sales Engineering, Product and other stakeholders.
What do we want from you?
- 10+ years of experience in a Telecoms infrastructure environment
- Excellent skills in German and English, both written and spoken are essential
- Entrepreneurial mindset to approach challenges with new thinking, ownership and drive
- Proven track record in successfully acquiring new business, growing and defending existing accounts and hitting financial targets
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage at a board level with customers to strategically position euNetworks, its offering and to establish a competitive advantage
- Ability to plan, forecast and report against sales plans and targets
- Proven track record managing stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate
- Strong knowledge of the company’s entire product suite and ability to lead a technical conversation with customers
- Good overview of the European business telecoms market, particularly in Germany
