My client in the remarketing automotive industry is seeking an experienced Rechtsanwalt to support its expanding European wholesale business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide expert legal guidance on German law and manage legal matters across multiple European jurisdictions.
Tasks
• Advise on German law, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.
• Manage external legal counsel across Europe to support business operations.
• Oversee privacy (GDPR), intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft and negotiate customer & supplier contracts to protect business interests.
• Support strategic decision-making alongside senior leadership.
• Handle dispute resolution and liaise with Works Councils if required.
Requirements
• Rechtsanwalt qualification with 7+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Expertise in technology law, with experience in startups or automotive a plus.
• Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Fluent in German & English (additional EU languages a plus).
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership in a multinational environment.
